Designed in mind of the growing number of us who live in small houses and apartments, Tilt is a coat and shoe storage solution that will fit in narrow hallways or corridors. The Aesthetic approach is one of simplicity; form led by function. Importance is placed on the quality of finish with each element of the design handmade.
Powder coated steel shelves have been bent to a shape that can hold a variety of shoes from boots to high heels, they slide off their oak supports for easy cleaning. The distance of the hooks to the top shelf determines the height of the piece; even a very long coat should not touch a shoe placed there. To prevent any slipping on smooth floor finishes, each leg has an angled profile with a rubber foot, which combined with the substantial weight of the piece ensures great stability.
In the interests of sustainability all the elements of the design are produced within 30 miles of each other within the UK. The Oak frame is from FSC sources within Europe, hand finished and treated with Danish oil. Each hook is hand-turned from steel and finished in a white powder coat.
